Hi all,

tried to install one of the carvox systems in 97 astro, all is working fine except the remote start as I have read with other posts here,  I don't want to give up yet here is my situation, after remote starting + engine running it keeps trying to restart, I have tried tach input to coil and injector same problem, then I noticed the remote recognizes that it is running so tach signal should not be a problem, what I want to do is wire in a relay that kills the starter wire when running like an antigrind of sorts BUT it appears the  ground outputs when running or in armed mode actually are not putting out a ground signal of any kind  I have tried to wire in relays using theses trigger outputs with no sucsess,I think I have developed tunnel vision with this POS so I am looking for some input/help on installing a separate or standalone start wire bypass when running to fix this problem or any other ideas someone may have besides scrapping the whole damn thing

It says

"tachometer input or high voltage sensing wire" connect to vehicles Tach wire at coil, cluster, injector, or ecm

this Van does not have a Tach so I went to ignition control module tach output to ecm had the same problem, now have it hooked to off color at #5 injector and same problem??

as earlier stated I think the security module sees the signal because the remote does show the vehicle is running

If iot continues to CRANK while it's running then TACH still sounds like the problem

I know on some of those units you could WRAP the TACH wire around a Spark Plug wire about 5 times and get a signal
Otherwise:
ECM located drivers side engine compartment, behind battery. White wire found in black plug labeled white.

OR

Tach SignalWHITEAT IGNITION COIL
