97 Tahoe, alarm/remote starter

Sounds like you have a wire reversed:

If you used Relays or did a 5 wire Reversal Rest @ Ground......Make sure you have -  PIN 87a -  going to Door Switch Side.make sure they are SPDT Relays

 

2 SPDT RELAYS:

Cut LOCK  & UNLOCK Wire in Half.

One Half goes to SWITCHOne Half goes to ACTUATOR

Relay 1

LOCK:

PIN 87 =  12 Volts ( + ) ConstantPIN 87a =  wire from Door Lock SwitchPIN 30 =  wire to Lock side of ActuatorPIN 85 = Negative Lock Output from AlarmPIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )

Relay 2

UNLOCK:

PIN 87 =  12 Volts ( + ) ConstantPIN 87a =  wire from Door UnLock SwitchPIN 30 =  wire to UnLock side of ActuatorPIN 85 = Negative UnLock Output from AlarmPIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )

I have the two door. There is no relay, the wires come straight from the alarm module. There a 6 wires. lock and unlock, 2 NO, 2 NC?Thank You Kyle

Hello, i have a 97 tahoe 5.7 and i recently installed a remote starter. Everything worked fine until i found out that when i use the remote start it throws a abs sensor code to the engine light. What connection did i screw up on? Do i need a bypass to solve this, im not sure if the vehicle had an alarm but it did have keyless entry. Any help is appreciated thanksThank You Kyle
