Hey guys I need a wiring diagram, and any tips you may have for installing a compustar 2wss-as alarm/rs into a 2000 ford f250 diesel.

FORD / F SERIES SUPER DUTY / 2000 / Remote Start
12volts yellow & lt. GREEN/ purple   +   ignition harness
Starter RED / lt. blue   +   ignition harness
Second Starter N/A       
Ignition RED / black (larger of 2)   +   ignition harness
Second Ignition N/A       
Third Ignition N/A       
Accessory BLACK/ lt. green   +   ignition harness
Second Accessory gray / YELLOW   +   ignition harness
Keysense BLACK/ pink   -   ignition harness
Power Lock pink / YELLOW       
Notes: Non-keyless versions are 5 wire located in the driver door harness. Keyless versions are negative trigger located in a gray molex plug to the right side of the steering column.
Power Unlock pink/lt. green       
Notes: Non-keyless versions are 5 wire located in the driver door harness. Keyless versions are negative trigger located in a gray molex plug to the right side of the steering column.
Lock Motor pink/black   5wi driver kick, door harness
Unlock Motor pink/black or RED / orange   5wi driver kick, door harness
Parking Lights+ brown   +   headlight switch

Tachometer WHITE/ pink   ac   instrument cluster or PCM
Notes: Can also be located in the main harness that runs on the inside of the firewall to the left of the brake pedal.
Wait to start BLACK/ pink   -   instrument cluster or PCM
Notes: This wire MUST be diode isolated from the instrument cluster to keep the battery from draining, see DirectFax document 1090.

Brake Wire lt. green   +   brake pedal switch
Parking Brake

Just take your time, dont rush, wire it all up before worying why nothing works

Thank you very much! Doesn't look like it will be too terribly hard, and as you said, I will be taking my time so that I make sure everything is right and works correctly the first time.

Hey Paul,the Ford trucks are very easy to do. Much the same as a F150 except that wait too start wire.
