well we cracked ours, but it had a large chip to start and that was at 153.5
I have seen factory honda glass hold over 160DB
But typically when you get over about 163-164 things are going to give out very very soon

dB isnt what makes windows shatter, the air being pushed creates pressure inside the car and when you hit too many low notes at a ceratin time-BOOM shatter. Honda glass is poop in my opinion i did two 12s in a civic at 1,000 watts at 2 ohms total. Rear windows cracked but didnt shatter. that probably only hit about 145 between 155, ive pushed a toyota with a dB meter to 163db and the windows started to bend so we stopped.

163db in a toyota??????   what meter?   This I would love to see.     I only know one toyota in the world over 160db    its a truck with lexan windows and concrete
we are well into the 150's and have not had any problems with factory glass, exect the CRX but it was chipped to begin with

DD is too expensive!!!    they have raised thier cost majorly the last year...I have owned some before....I was pretty impressed with the quality of the subs 95 and 99 series for a street setup, but the price is just not worth it.

with the DD 9915's we had a setup in an explorer with 2 SPL amps...z1x3000d's       3 batterys yellow top.    And it would street beat, but poorly, 152db
I was not that happy with the SQ but it was loud, very very loud.   But not worth the money...honomichl see the other post you were in about your boxes, I had some questions for you
