If I were to wire directly from the relay i would wire from PIN 85 for both the lock and the unlock, correct? And would that be the simplest way?

Do you mean the Factory Relays?

Page 6 in your Install manual shows how to wire for POSITIVE Door Locks........
You would hook your Resistors accordingly.........and then hook those to the Vehicle Single wire
Other wise ...If you go to the FACTORY Relays in the Fuse Box , you can NEGATIVE Pulse one of the PINS on each Relay for LOCK & UNLOCK.  There is usually 3 or 4 Relays for the Door Locks On the Fuse Panel

Ok!  I thank everybody for your help on figureing this stuff out.   If i run into problems I'm sure i'll be posting again.
