I buy them based on price. Unfortunately, there is some contraversy on the subject. Some feel that more expensive cables are going to make a difference. I can't see spending huge amounts of money on rca's. As long as they are shielded and aren't going to break, it won't matter.

I have monster cables, they work. I install with stinger, they work.

knuconceptz is a company to consider too. they make some inexpensive, but quality products.

I've never noticed a difference between cheap RCA cables and top dollar RCA cables.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

03 impalla...

I had an Alpine deck last year that was rated as having a 2 volt preamp output voltage. I doubt it would ever put out 2 volts without clipping badly though. I had two amps and I would have to have the gain up pretty high to get good output out of the amp (I didn't turn it up high enough for the amp to clip, just enough to reach full output from the amp). You could also hear some hiss in my systm in quiet parts of music.

I would reccomend getting a line driver if you can hear hiss through your system or have to have the gain up reall high. If you end up looking for a line driver try one from Audiocontrol. They make excellent products.

vogey= yes to a point but there are other varibles that come in to play to but basicly yes. and gust because your volume on your deck can go to 32 dosent mean you can turn it up that high.
