What diodes would I need to install the alarm/remote starter.  If I have 2 ignition wires and 1 ignition wire from starter unit how do I connect them both to the alarm so that the are not connected to each other?

use a relay

hook uo the ignition wire from the alarm/remote starter to the ignition wire in the vehicle

pin 85 goes to the ignition wire from the remote start/alarm brain

pin 86 goes to the alarm brains ground out when running wire/or (-) status wire

pin 30 goes to the second ignition wire in the car

pin 87 goes 12 volts (constant)

How do you determine what door lock system you have on your car?

Use blue for unlock and blue for lock, in the drivers kick. They meter from the key cylinder in the door. You don't need relays, direct hookup from the alarm brain. If you have a factory alarm this will arm and disarm it also. For tach use the black wire on the coil....

start25, do a search in the forums prior to beginning this installation as there is an abundance of information on the forums for the Toyota and it will benefit you alot if you just type in " Toyota Camry " in the search button above. You will find most if not all the information that you will need in order to get the RS installed.

I'm planning to intall alarm/starter (crimestoper) on 2001 Camry, Can you tell me what Alarm Input wire on the car is? What wire do you hook up to it?  Also it has child safety wire, what do I do with that, do I have to hook up door lock wires some special way?

You use blue for unlock and blue/red for lock, either in the passengers kickpanel or the orange plug at the bottom of the fuse box. There is no child safety wire if you use these wire, test them by turning the key in the p;assenger door...
