you can use a times relay, like a pac tr7 or the dei timed relay to provide a signal to the dome light wire for a certain amount of time. just curious how was the dome light wire, wired up on the alarm, it might be just wired incorrectly

I tried a few different ways of doing it since the domelight is a positive wire. I used the diagram found here the postive one.   https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page4.asp . But the relay wont CLICK when i have it hooked up it just does nothing untill i hit the domelighjt output with another ground

try a - input wire , sounds like your r/s needs a - input. im not sure what the input your r/s needs

ok just checked out the manual and the unit does require a - input for it to work. so if you only have + you need to invert it to -. check this out
