Of the two wires on the bottom switch, you say they are both yellow/black.  One is towards the floor and one is kind of above it.  I believe it is the one on top that is switched.  Check for continuity to ground on both.  The bottom wire on the bottom switch is probably grounded at all times, while the top wire on the bottom switch is probably only grounded with the clutch in.  The wire that is only grounded while the clutch is pressed in is the one you want to send a neg. pulse to while cranking.  You could also bypass clutch permanantly by cutting the two and connecting and soldering them.  This will mean you NEVER have to push the clutch in to start the car.

kohara73, bad idea to bypass the clutch the way you suggest.

Which way is bad, the permant way??  I know it's bad but it's an easy answer if someone is too lazy to bypass it only during crank...I'm only telling him his options...I'm not SUGGESTING anyhting.
