re-glueing speaker

one alpine component 6.5 speaker is comming off of the base it was glued down to. Can I reglue it? Or is it garbage.

Try it and see what happens. It cant hurt anything.

Is it out of warranty?  If it isn't, then send it to get repaired.  You might have to look into new speakers.
That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

I got this great stuff from loctite that Steve at Adire Audio reccomended, send him a message for the name.

Windshield urathane has held more than one ungued PPI together for me for quite some time. Takes a day or so to fully cure, and being black it isn't the prettiest stuff around, but it is tough stuff.

I got the loctite brand super glue stuff but it dries to fast.

ah what the hell cold weld it . i've sucured somethings that i thought would nevr hold and there still stuck together today.

i'e even done heater control switches with it. cable type. no problem just use a little more of the cure than the base and your golden.

i've even done oil pans on then old beater mersades 190e's where the customer can't even afford gas so a quick fix is all you can do. thats still holding for the last year and that is a bad spot right on the front of the pan where everthing hits it. sitll there.

JUST ONE MORE AMP!!!
