good combination or bad?

your going to have to do some math to get the box size right but i am not good at that kind of stuff so i cant help you there. but in most pre-fab boxes there is a number that is already figured out for you the prob is if you have subs in there so like me you could be to lasy to take them out and look. what brand is it. how is it made by. Want to know some good equipment- JL,Adire Audio,Mcintosh,Brax,Helix,Eclipse,JBL,RE,Dimoand Audio,Zapco, pritty much anything DYhon,Forbidden recommend

are you talking about box?? and the subs are duel voice coil not single im not sure were you got the idea they were single they are the refrence 1242 infinity subs you can look it up if you want ohh and the box is a bandpass  vented enclosure

Hmm. I'm not really shure about MTX amps or anything, but, all I was really saying was that for a *real* small MTX amp, the 12's sound pretty aight.. The testament was to the woofer, NOT the amp.. The Infinity Reference series subwoofer is actually quite a little performer.. I much prefer them to the overrated w0 or w1 series from JL and... to be honest.. the only real complaint I can level is *gawd-awful* cone design. I have the 2 1240w's running in stereo of a Profile AP1200.  It is 200 watts a channel.  I bought it at ... for $109, or www.crutchfield.com for a bit more.  I love the sound.  It is tight, yet it will get pretty loud.  The only downfall to the amp is it is class A/B, so it is power hungry.  It is fused at 75 amps.There are 3 kinds of people in the world, those who can count and those who can't

ohh ok thanks sorry for such a late reply but what do you think od the kenwood amps with the infinitys 1242 not the ones shown on the link above do you think that kenwood amp is a good choice?
