I having a problem with a remote start install on a 2000 chevy suburban ,First of all I purchased a omega rs-4LX remote start & db-pass23a bypass kit ,I think I wired every thing ok :

pink = ign 1+

white=ign 2 +

orange=acc +

yellow=start +

all of these wires come from the column and goto the left mid fuse center

and as far as the bypass kit ,it did blink 4 times when i programmed it (yes it is out of program mode )

the problem is that ignition comes on and vehicle starts and then dies right out ,i dont get a security light on the dash just a battery light  this has been driving me crazy any help would be appriciated

Thanks

Have you tried it with a key in the ignition to rule out the bypass?

R/S it w/ key in ignition (some cars may need key in run postion, unsure w/ yours) and if it starts fine than you know what the issue is, else on to troubleshooting the R/S wiring. Ensure that ignition 2 (white ) is in fact hooked up to the ignition 2 of  the R/S, this has to be the second ignition to properly start.

i'm running the omega w/tachsense off the alternator ,tried finding a tach wire (white out of pcm) couldn't get MM to read anything on the ac scale & omega unit wouldn't pick up a signal either ,but the truck starts & just dies right after that
