Anyone have experience with the new Colorado's in any form?  I bought this starter ( manual transmission ) and the passlock module, and it was installed today, and the installer could not get even the remote to program.  I don't know if its the truck, which because of its nature turns on the Parking Lamps when the ignition is hot, or that it unlocks the doors when the key is removed, but it seems to interfere with the programming sequence.  We can get it into the "Flashed Hood Pin Mode" but the Ignition on/off and then LOCK doesn't flash the lights 5 times as it should.  Sometimes you get a single flash, other times nothing.  I called and Prostarts technical help is brutal, they call you back with a reference number that will be used even later for a callback help session.  I did email them and hopefully get a response, but until then, any thoughts?

Thanks,

Ryan

You have to press the button 2 times at the end of the sequence. Here's the instructions for the 3360
To program a new transmitter:
1. Ensure that the ignition is OFF and that the hood is up.
• Hold the hood pin-switch down for 4 seconds.
• Release the pin-switch.
The parking lights will come on.
• With parking lights on, immediately push and release the pin-switch again.
The parking lights will stay on for up to 20 seconds.
2. Turn the ignition key to the IGNITION ON (RUN) position, wait until the parking light relay shuts off in the module; then
turn the ignition key OFF, ON, OFF.
The L.E.D. (optional) will be flashing for the next step.
3. Press the LOCK (or UNLOCK) button, wait 1!sec., then press the button again until the parking lights flash 5!times
quickly.
4. To exit, close the hood.

I have that sequence, and I get to the end of step two, but without the LED, I have to assume its moved to step 3, but I get no parking flash of 5 fast, at best I get the fast-slow, fast-slow. I checked online and I noticed the new posted PDF instructions on Prostarts site have you only doing the RUN/OFF step ( in step 2 ) once now. It still didn't help me unfortunatly.
When you say press the button two times, do you mean the hood pin or the lock/unlock button?

hello, during the flash the hood pin seqence, after you have held down the switch for a good 4 seconds, let it up but then i can't stress enough how fast you have to just tap the hood pin to get the lights to stay on for the next step. ran in to this many times. do it very quickly.

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the responses thus far. As it comes to getting into the mode, I think I'm doing that correctly, and I tested out VALET and the RESET of the module, and both work correctly. Even the diagnostics mode seems to work, telling me ( via flashes ) that the hardware is reset.
During testing, I did discover an oddity when I did the single ON/OFF sequence, instead of the two ON/OFF/ON/OFF. It seems like the system thinks I've gone into the Programming mode ( MODE 1, MODE 2 etc ), which can only be done when you hold the brake down ( thus giving the brain a signal from the brake light ). Do to all the complex systems in this ignition, the doors unlocking when you remove the key, and the auto on parking lights, I think the installer may have chosen a wrong wire. In my mind, in his bay, under the dash, he probably didn't have the truck on, but was looking for a wire that went live when the brake pedal was pressed. The problem is that the tailight bulb has two filaments, one dim for PL, one bright for BRAKE. When you press the brake, both stay on. I think he may have chosen the PL filement signal, which would explain why the system thinks I'm pressing the brake pedal and goes into the programming mode when I turn the key to ON, in the above sequence, as that turns on the PL bulbs. Its the only possibility I can see for not being able to get into the remote programming mode. The other oddity is once into the programming mode, the LOCK/UNLOCK/TRUNK buttons seem to work as I make selections and go down the list, each giving corresponding numbers of flashes.
I'm going to take the system apart soon and check that all the inputs are working as they should.
Outside of that, its coming out, so anyone want a CT-3360 and Passlock 600 module for $100CAD? Installed once!

Hi, @all
at first sorry for my poor english, but I do not come from Canada or the USA.
I have nearly the same Problem with my Prostart CT 3360.
But i be sure that wiring is OK, because after the Installation the system works. But if i take a ride with the Car, after 10min nothing works, no Door lock or unlock, nothing...Then i have to wait around 20min ,everything work fine again. I can start and stop the engine, lock and unlock the doors. So i decide to reset the Unit. And now i can´t programm the Transmitter again. Nothing work except Ignition Doors un/lock.
Then i go to Diagnostic Mode
1. flashes 3 times ( Hardware reset, could be ok because i reset the Unint.)
2. flashes 15 times ???? in the manual the explanation stops at 10 flashes.
And the Led flashes all the Time. Is that ok ??
For me it looks like the transmitter doesn´t work or the antenna. Did i have a chance to find that out??
Thank you for your help.

The Prostart, Nordic, Astro start are all the same products and from previous installs that I've done programming it can be quite frustrating. It's all about timing the procedures properly... if you do it right they work quite well.
You didn't even get to the remote starting part. I wonder if he had an issue with that too seeing how the Colorado doesn't even have a start wire.
If you need someone to do it for you send me a message... I just did an 06 Colorado last week.
