I have a pioneer head set w/four pioneer three-way 6 1/2's in the doors and an alpine 4-channel amp. I am looking to install a 12" pioneer 600w 4ohm sub. How do I need to have it wired in so it is safe and works properly? Any info would be appreciated.

you are planning on getting another amp for the sub? i wouldn't suggest trying to use the 4 channel if that was your plan. does your hu unit have a second set of rca's? for another amp? i would get an amp that is a little over the rms rating of your sub so you will have head room.

I also have a ? about the box the sub is going in. It is a completely sealed box w/no blower hole either. Do I need to put a blower hole in it?

but if not then no you dont the box is designed to be sealed. your sub has specs on the type of inclosure it should be in and that is how the sub will best perform. you will get different types of bass out of different style boxes

I dont know what my hu has 2nd rca's or not yet. If it doesn't can I still make it work with what I do have? If so, how good will it be and what is the odds that something will get messed up?

If your head unit does not have enough preouts, you can see if your 4 channel has any preouts.  If it does not, connect a line output converter to either front or rear speaker wires, and run your RCA's from that.

a  ,y-connector from one of the 4 channels rca will work also. i really dont think that head unit has three sets of preouts if it even has two. what model is it? and one other question is there two sets of rca's at the 4 channel amp?going to it?

I dont know what type of headset it is yet besides it is a pioneer am/fm/cd/cassette. Its what they told me they installed. I do know that I originally had two sets of rca's going to amp from head set.
