I have a Acura RL 2004 and just bought the Verizon V3 Razor Blue Tooth phone. My car has a Navigation system, satellite radio and is On-Star capable. I'm getting a different story from every installer I speak with to what I would like to do and what's possible. I would like to buy the Motorola IHF1000 (some say no I should buy the HF850 because the 1000 doesn't work with Verizon's Razor and others say that's not true. I would like to have the unit installed into my car so that the volume up/down works from my steering wheel control, the radio mutes on receiving a call, use my On-Star microphone and the speakers that are already in the car instead of the external one that is usually supplied. My brother has a GM trunck and all the above work just fine with it. Some say it's because I have an Acura and others haven't done that before so just don't believe it can be done.
Looking for the truth.

The truth is anything is possible. If you want to spend a lot of money and time on your project.. It sound like an integration nightmare. I dont believe ther is quick install fix to your idea. Find an installer who is willing to spend the time on a custom install, not a quick, i only install radios, speakers, and satelite radio shop. Be prepare to spend $$$.   OR Google you way to available parts and equipment. Blue Tooth - Last Post -- posted image. Blue Tooth - Last Post -- posted image.
Just because you've done something for a long time doesn't mean you're any good at it.
