man... ive been wrestling with this kia for a week.. every wire color description that ive pulled off the net.. is not even CLOSE to the colors im seeing when i got it all opened up.  its a 2001 kia sportage limited.. and the closest one i can get .. still a few wires off.. is a 2005 wire color description.  for the remote start ive had to shoot the wires myself and find the right ones..and knowing for a fact that all the descriptions ive gotten are wrong..but pointed me to the right direction...   now i got a tach lock out.. and the suggested wire color for the tach at the diagnostic connector in the engine bay (yellow/white) is reading a steady 12 volts when you turn the key on and to start and acc..  i have NO idea..  even the key sense wire isnt right... it says its  a ltGREEN/ black  or green wire that is 12v when the key is insterted and will disarm the factory alarm  during RS...the wire is actually like a 16ga  or 18 ga wire .. black and red ones goin to the front of the key cylinder and when you inster the key the black wire is energized... so.. any ideas why all the resources i have come in contact with are not even close to what im seeing on the truck... and yes ive checked the vin and it is a 2001 kia sportage...

the above diagram isnt even close...   these are the colors i got.. working off memory...written down but the paper is downstairs in the truck

red  12v constant

black 12v constant

BLACK / YELLOW starter

white 12v on 0v start

WHITE/ blue 12v on start

green 12v acc on 0v start

no other color description ive found so far co-insides with what im seeing.... unless its for a kia sephia rio or spectra   not a sportage...  this truck is making me feel like i just started installs and have never touched 12volts before... i wanna cry
