Whoops, I missed that part.  Look under the driver's seat and if you have an amp it'll be there, otherwise go through your N1's manual to see what option needs to be selected.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

Installation complete. Blue wire from the harness turns on the ( i did not know I have ) amp. Dark GREEN / WHITE stripe is the VSS.

Was the green wire behind the radio or the gauges?

It might be behind the cluster guages but for sure it is behind the radio. Its job it to control the VSS (speed volume ) on the radio.
