That's where it was originally, but I found that when you turn the dome light switch "off", you effectively kill the door trigger input, also i think it has a delay with the courtesy lights, so I read another post with someone using a GREEN/ YELLOW? on driver side kick panel, and i tested it and gave me instant trigger, as with the "door ajar" icon on the dash. but it did not solve the original problem, but I used to can remote start the car with out it triggering the alarm by just leaving the switch off, but then you know the downside to that. When warmer weather permits, i'm prolly gonna tear down the entire thing and do it over, but as it's winter need remote start. Thanks!

Strange. The RED / white on the back of the switch shouldn't turn off the door triggers when you turn the switch off, the RED / black will. Well one sure fire way to do it would be to get individual door pin switch wires and diode isolate...
