that box is shhh, its the same box as the dual set up. i wouldnt even bother putting that in.

a big 10-4. and what do you need to calculate about a pre-fab anyway? if it plays it plays, not much you can do to edit the sound.

make your own with slot ports. will sound a lot better. + you gain knowledge in the process.
Want to know some good equipment- JL,Adire Audio,Mcintosh,Brax,Helix,Eclipse,JBL,RE,Dimoand Audio,Zapco, pritty much anything DYhon,Forbidden recommend

And your question is...?

Both enclosures above are 4th order bandpass systems.  They would perform differently due to driver displacement issues unless the chamber volumes were adjusted accordingly.

considering the space taken up, the size of the woofers, and the setup they have going, I'm betting that it is one of two types:

1) (the most likely one) It is a basic type two (or second order) sealed box with the woofer facing out to shrink the box down some more. -or-

2) It is a type four (forth order - another sealed box) Passive Radiator setup with the cone underneath it acting as a tone diaphragm to give it a smoother bass tone and to shrink the box a lot. This setup allows a really small box to be used for this kind of design as well.

That is... unless those darker blue circles are ports... In which case it is a basic Bass Reflex ported box with a clever design for finding enough space for it. They don't look like ports to me though... they sit on the surface of the box(s) and look pretty solid.
