Memory, Constant Power Wire, 97 Mirage

my head deck resets itself evry time the ignigtin is turned off. After taking the headdeck out i cant find which to wires to connect as the memory wire. I have a pioneer deck and a mitsi mirage 97.

would really appreciate any help.

i am going to assume that the deck was hard wired. Take the yellow off the pioneer deck to the RED / black from the cars wiring harness.

ok and do what with the blue wire (from the harness) that was connected to the yellow?

ok first the blue wire is output only. u need to read the manual and get a proper diagram for wire color and there isnt a ground wire on the harness so ground the black wire from the radio to metal and make sure u test ground with a meter but the red wire is for ignition and yellow is for memory which should be 12 volts with the key on or off.
the best part of a job is seeing the bumper get smaller over the horizon
