I have installed the CK3100 in my 2004 Chevy Silverado. I used the GMCELL from Soundgate, and Soundgate faxed me the wiring diagram to install relays to fix it where Onstar will work. Now that the relays are installed, my car kit will not mute the radio. But, if I turn on Onstar, then try my car kit I can hear the the car kit. But, I can't leave Onstar on to use my car kit. Is there any suggestions on how I can resolve this problem?

i would suggest to first check where u got your power from maybe your car kit is getting the power from the onstar.

I have read and read posts about GMCELL.....and it seems everyone has a problem with it. I have stated this before in this forum.......dont use it. The harness from cellsite is 100x better and it interfaces with the onstar system flawlessly...I have never had a problem...and I have done at least 100 tahoes/suburbans/silverados this way. Just make sure you also get the LOC-1 (line output converter) from cellsite as well, especially if you are installing a motorolla kit.

You dont need the harness for the corvette. You can actually run it through the amplifier under the passenger side carpeting. Contact me if you want the diagrams.

I Also, at one time used the GMCELL. Now I use the cellsite adapter. On an ihf 1000 or a parrot kit, use the line level outputs. On the motorola it is the blue and yellow,  and on the ck3100 parrot it is the thin green and brown wires. Also you probably wont need the line output converter(loc1) if you are using low level inputs.

Thanks customautomotive, you got me off of the GMCELL product.
