Yes, the modules (452T/450R) will work with ANY auxillary channel with a LATCHED output. Infact, the when using the 450R, this can be a complete standalone, as the 450R has remote programming capabilities.

both the 452T and 450R are DEI part numbers. I don't know of any others that make a device similar to the 452T, i've always used DEI so i never looked elsewhere, but i'm sure somebody out there does. I'm sure there are other channel expanders with LATCHED outputs though.

Now, the 450R is not really needed if you have an alarm with x2 AUX outputs that are programmable for LATCHED.

I guess you could also use latching relays in place of the 450R, but that may require some extra install outside of my diagram.

this just hit me.....your trying to use the FACTORY remote, but be able to open the sliders with IGN on. No add-on alarm? is that right?

If thats the case, you could use the main IGN wire and a relay to break the connection to the IGN wire on the keyless module when the key is on. Now i don't know if this will have an adverse affect to the module losing it's IGN power?

I do know that LOCK will not work with the key on, but UNLOCK does. You could use a timer relay off of the UNLOCK wire and have it set for like 20-30secs or however amount of time it takes for them to slide open plus a 10sec buffer. Although the door switch will activate it too.

The diagram i posted is for a complete stand alone sysem NOT using the factory remotes (although they still do work as they did)
