Has a torrent been made of the East disc yet? If not, I'll be uploading it to alt.binaries.test after the Sopranos...

I don't know if I'll be able to post it or not. PowerPost gives me a runtime error I need to figure out, and WinRar tells me over 8 hours to compress, plus it's hogging all my CPU. I'll try to figure something else out.

As far as a URL, there is no such thing when it comes to a newsgroup. You need a newsprovider and a newsreader.

OK, the East disc is going up to alt.binaries.test.

Look for CNDV60MT East as the subject. I split it into 102 parts. Use MasterSplitter to join them back together, or use the included .bat file. The post should be complete in about 17 hours (sorry, I have a crappy u/l speed!).

For those not familiar with Usenet, most ISP's provide some type of Newsgroup access. You will need Newsgroup access and a decent newsreader, like FreeAgent from Forte Agent. Please note this u/l is in the yEnc format, and while most newsreaders will decode it properly, some (like Outlook and Outlook Express) will not be able to.

Well, back to the drawing board. PowerPost tells me my post was rejected because the file size is too large. I will have to run it through MasterSplitter again and post smaller pieces.

Okay, I'm splitting the East disc into 500 pieces, each one 13,570 kb in size. Once it's done, I'll try posting it again.

Oh, and Usenet was around way before Al Gore even thought about creating the Internet!

I think it wont let you post that many... because of spam settings, You should be able to make them into 50mb rar files which should come out to around 90 or so rar files...
