internet stores

Anyone ever shopped at sonix electronics or woofers etc? prices seem to good to be true. they are tons cheaper than the stores were i live . thought i might order some goodies from them and hope for the best.rottenbellys 05 crew cab colorado.Pioneer dehp 880prs, kenwood excelon in all 4 doors. I have an order coming in from sonicelectronics coming in right now, supposedly its trustworthy.  Now I only ordered it online because I needed an amp that is discontinued and so my local store couldnt get it for me, in fact my local salesman, who happens to be a pretty good friend recommended I check ebay, so I cant feel too guilty.  Now with my reasoning for the purchase online out of the way I will say what you will hear from everyone else on here as well.  That is that yeah you may get better prices online, but you never know what you are going to get, there is a really small possibility that the merchandise you receive will not be what it is supposed to be, as in fake.  You will get no manufacturers warranty, and you dont get any of the customer service, and help/advice if you ever run into a problem.  You really should support your local shops (not the big box stores, but local customizers and retailers), a lot of the members on this forum either work in or in a few cases, own, some of these shops.  Chances are if you go in to a local place and get to know somebody, let them know you arent trying to rip them off but you chose to come there instead of online to support their store and you could really use to save some money on some of your stuff, they will give you a hand and cut some money off of retail.
