hey guys, sooooo new to this stuff, didnt even know you can mod these things....first off i got an AVIC-N!

i got a simple question and i am sure someone can help me with this, u guys seem like geniuses!  hahaha...

i am trying to make a dvd of MUSIC VIDEOS that i downloaded from LIMEWIRE, they are just video files...

i burn them to a DVD and when i put it in my avic-n1, it doesnt read the DVD but when i play it at home in my DVD player, it works, and the main screen is basically just a list of the dvd's like files.....

i used NERO EXPRESS to burn the dvd and if i remember correctly i used the "burn files to DVD" and it obviously wasnt accepted on my avic.....so what am i supposed to do?  any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your DVD at home might read just video files on a DVD. Did you make sure to burn the DVD like it was a movie with menus and stuff to select the videos you want. It should work because I burn DVD's all the time that play in my avic-n1.

Burning to dvd and CONVERTING to dvd are two completely different things. My version of Nero(6 just to be exact) doesn't automatically convert. Just because my dvd player will play DIVX and XVID doesn't mean I think my car's dvd player can.
