so i am going to get 3 boxes made for my new sub its the 12" eclipse titanium 8122 dvc with a v12 mrd1002 alpine amp and i wanna make 3 boxes for it

i drive an 1995 ecipse gsx and i wanna know what some good dimensions would be for a spl box, sql box, and a load one that sounds real nice so a mix of the 2 so if anyone could help me out it would be greatly aprresated

and if anyone knows the db's i will be hitting with the spl one that would be great also

these woofers really arent built for pure spl. A nice balance of the 2 would be somewhere like 1.25 sealed at the most

If you're going more for SPL, go for 4cu/ft. ported to 32Hz. If you're going for SQ, go 1.25cu/ft. sealed. If you want SQL, 3.5cu/ft. ported to 35Hz.

Look to get forbidden's input. He has a lot of experience with Eclipse Titaniums.

k well i went and got a box made for it i had ti made to 3.0 ft3 with a port at 35 htz and when and got it metered at 147.8 dbs so im happy with it

well my box blew up today so i took it back to tweeter and they have to make a new one out of 1 1/2in wood
