Hi, a while back a member named Mike M2 told me the following...

"As for the locks, they are very simple in a Matrix. At the drivers kickpanel there is a white plug half way down coming from the door. In it there is a blue/white, thats your lock wire and will require a negative pulse. Also in the plug is a blue / YELLOW, that is unlock. Giving it a single negative pulse will unlock the drivers door. A second pulse will unlock all the other doors. It's just that simple, no relays needed. This makes it easy to have two stage unlock, doesn't it?"

Today I thought that I would verify the correct wiring before installing my unit.  What I found was that a (-) pulse on the blue/white wire does lock all doors, but a single (-) pulse on the blue / YELLOW wire does nothing.  Two consecutive pulse or double pulse (-) on the blue / YELLOW wire unlocks all the doors.  Can anybody help me out on how to get drivers priority unlock to work.  In the worst case I assume that I can rip off the drivers door panel and wire the 1st unlock wire to the motor with a relay and use the 2nd unlock wire from the unit to drive the blue / YELLOW wire.  Does anyone know an easier way to do this.

Also can anybody tell me from the diagram below what the Green Power Unlock wire does, I cant seem to find it.  Does it exist and does it function the same as the blue/white unlock wire?.   Finally does anyone have an idea what the Lock Motor and Unlock Motor blue and red wires do and what 5wi stands for.

Thanks for all your help,

Dave
