I want to mount my amp on the back of the trunk against the back seats, but someone told me this is a bad idea as it impedes proper cooling? is this true?

As ravendarat said upside down is a no no, the heat just rises back up into the heatsinks/cooling elements and the amp gets hot, vertical and horizontal are fine and any angle in between is fine
