i know they make a few different yellow top optima's  i have use the tall selnder one and the normal one u see at most of your chain auto stores . i know in the older civics you haveto pit it in from the side not the top and its tight but fits . the other kinetik  battery sounds good but  $$$   compared to optima , the only thing i have found is the optimas like to be recharge though a battery charger cuz somtimes car just cant charge them to there peak , Optima or Stinger Battery? - Page 3 -- posted image.

Yea like you say that amp is *not* insanely powerful; the Optima is, even if not compared to other, more esoteric car batteries.
I've had my Yellow Top in for pushing 18 months now, and it has never dropped below 12v, ever.. and I have a stock 80-amp alt and *three* amps.
Good choice sir, good choice.

Hehe, yeah I just want something that can give me a peace of mind when playing the system with the car parked and not running - which I do ALOT. I am not going for insane power but just good clean sound thats loud enough for me - car has alot of work done to it and I would not really want to shake anything loose. For example the back bumper is molded onto the body for one... get what I am saying? LOL.

Good to hear you got your car running again! Get that Optima in there before the same thing happens all over again.Optima or Stinger Battery? - Page 3 -- posted image.

LOL - Yeah I will get it in before I put in the Directed 5 Channel Amp - not going with the MTX anymore. I think the Directed Audio is a better amp from what I read...
