I've only done one of those cars, and I can't remember the wire colors.
But I do remember that the doors cannot be locked while they are open.
Hold a Phillips screwdriver, or other similar tool, sideways. Push it into the doorlatch on the driver's door until it clicks the latch and the domelight goes out....thus fooling the car into thinking the door is closed, and then test again.

I actually had a workmates mid 90's 850 and boy. was that fun

screw that car=)

i had the same problem, doors would lock.. but not unlock... took the key out, everything.

finally got smart and shut the doors to test out the alarm and it worked=)

so make sure you're not doing anything sTUPID first.

Other than that i did have a time finding wires, i ended up reading and searching through old posts here for a surefire door lock / unlock wire.

cdj277 Did you ever get it to work?

Someone please help with this!

I did a 95 850 yesterday and could not get it to lock. I even had the latch faked out and all the doors and trunk and hood closed.

I even took apart my door to make sure fo the wire color on my particular car which was yellow/gray for lock and grey/ red for unlock oh an d then there is the blue/brown which is a diasrm wire which must be pulsed at the same time as the gray/ red to unlock.

One tech told me that you could do a one wire setup with the green brown in the drivers kick, this only unlocked.

customcarelect      was that vovlo a 850 glt wagon? if it was i found that the doorlocks are a 4wire reversal setup  you will need to use 4 relays  if you lookup doorlocks on 12 volt youll find how to set it up   you can also add a motor to the rear hatch that will also disarm factory alarm too well hope you have good luck
