Anyone here familiar with Metra's GM0S-05 or GMRC-04? If someone has the install manual for it, it would be greatly apreciated if you could make it available for me to view, at least the wiring diagram. Thank you!
I am looking to retain door chime, RAP and maybe On-Star in a 2000 Bonneville. The car also has an external amp (Bose system a.k.a. U80). I don't care about retaining the external amp because the car is getting new amplifiers...if anyone here has any experience with this car or other adapters, please reply.

I've used the GMOS-04 and it's great. Simple install, no external speaker needed, saved me a bunch of time.

I think it uses the same data as the stock HU. All you do is plug it in and wire up the deck. Saw you were replacing the factory amp. Havn't done that yet, I would call Metra tech support and see if that would cause any problems.

just did a Bonneville the other day with a GMRC-04 and it worked fine... OK, the first one i put in wouldn't shut the chime off, but the second one worked fine.... ( Thank God, i always order at least 2 of everything... one to show and one to go....)

make sure (if you can) that it's software version 3.4 or higher.....
