’05 Cadillac Deville DVD override

Hey, I was curious if anyone had any suggestions on how to override the DVD player in a 2005 Cadillac Deville DTS. Right now it only plays in park, but not in drive. I found a few things such as holding the music note button for 3 seconds, and then entering 1791 on the screen, but I don't think that's for 2005's. Any idea for this year? Thanks!

to do what, watch dvd on the nav screen? i wasnt ever aware that gm ever made a factory screen in the front that played dvds without aftermarket mod

Yes, play a DVD while the car is out of park.
