Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.

Click here for the instructions but that module does a lot more than just the passlock...kinda a waste to use it just for the Passlock.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

I checked it out and for the 2001 chevy impala that's all it seems to do is passlock. But when i add the remote starter does any of those wires get hook to the unit?

Other than the vehicle connections, you would need to hook up the brown - status input wire. This wire is a - output from the remote start that activates the module when remote starting.
