Thanks i really appreciate it.I'm trying to see why each wiring diagram i get has something different.I compared this one to the bulldog security one, plus another one i got from an intrepid site, and all 3 have something different about the wiring..

What are the differences? If you list them maybe someone here would be able to assist you in straightening them out. I see that the bulldog says to not use + for park lamps, but the DEI shows the wire and location. Using the - resistor method would draw less from the remote start connections, so I would lean towards that for connection.

Break out the DMM for the ignition wires. I believe that the 2nd ACC is not required for RS installation because this only powers up the radio, power windows & wiper circuit. Hook everything up accordingly and then test without hooking up the 2nd ACC. If you get a dash light error or if some of the ACC don't turn on, then hook up the 2nd ACC.

Thanks Velocity. The difference was, that the directwire diagram doesn't give me an accessory wire. Then there's the diagrams on here that the one for just the year 98 gives me the ignition2 as the air bag light. The diagram for the years 98-2002 gives me the ignition2 as the tranmission..I have a clifford intellistart 4 that i'm wiring in with an arrow 3..

I need to diode isolate the lock/unlock wires from my alarm brain and need to know what diode to use? I have a 98 intrepid that has the one wire door lock/unlock wire which i have to use a 2.7k ohm resistor and a 620ohm resistor.

Your going to want to use relays, not diodes. If you use the diodes and the resistor values listed, it won't work unless you change the values of the resistors to account for the resistance of the diodes.

My door locks have relays, but the dodge intrepid has the multiplexed door locks that only have one wire. When you wire in the alarm, the lock and unlock is controlled thru 2 different resistors.A 2.7k ohm resistor for lock, and a 620ohm resistor for unlock..
