Did you kept the deer? What the law on road kill in your state? I buddy of mine who is an advid hunter and fishman said that what you hit and kill on the road is yours to keep. Is that the case in the US? In all my years of driving on the road the only animal I came close to hitting has been my neighbourhood cat and dog. Knock on wood. Anyways, most important thing is you are in one piece and still above ground that all it matters.
