Hi, I have a 1998 nissan maxima. The stock keyless entry system has a window roll down feature on the stock remote, however I lost this feature when I installed a prestige 997 alarm/starter. I was considerring purchasing some window roll up/down modules, but noticed on the wirring chart that I have to access a wire from each door.
I was wondering, since the drivers side front door has a switch that controls all 4 windows, shouldn't I be able to tap into the wires from that switch and be able to control the other windows?

Throw a validity output onto the lock wire coming off of the key cylinder, may also be the same as the wire coming off of the lock switch. If you try to tap the wires coming off of window switch then you will need a window module.

Sorry, but what do you mean by validity output?
