I built a fiberglass enclosure for a 15 and it only has 1 cubic foot of air space....Does anyone know of a 15 in subwoofer that would sound good in a small sealed box?

Each of  my IDQ's see 1.35 cu ft, but I would imagine they would still work in a smaller enclosure, its just a matter of losing some of the lower frequencies.

Isnt building the box something you do after knowing what your going to use? get some pictures of them, I love seeing nice FG boxes. also as XS said, those w6s are good in small boxes.

i have researched some of those idq's but man...are they expensive. Do you think a 550 watt amp would push them and still make them pound in that box if i stuff it full of polyfill and reverse mount it so that the sub doesnt displace any more space?

I doubt you are going to get a good response from a 15" sub in a 1 cubic foot enclosure.

The enclosure is about 1.2 cubic feet I rounded down just to get an estimate of what options are out there...

If you can find a 15W6 (now discontinued) you could put it into a 1.2 cuft sealed enclosure.  You'll have a really boomy, peaked response around 70Hz and an Fb around 50Hz, with not much deep extension (at 30Hz you'll be down as much as 12db.)  But sure, the woofer won't care.  They have 400 watts continuous power handling.
