does anyone know where i can tap into the factory top dash mounted led and what are its voltage requirements. i would like to use this led instead of the standard alarm led which is 3v DC

stike that the clifford outputs a 12v dc   still need specs and color for factory led

The output on the alarm is actually on the - side of the output. If it is new then it should be 2V

yes you are correct but let me add more info. i dug into the crates
and on the clifford intelliguard 8000 violet is the +12v that drives
the led. also the factory led on the trans am is c16 dark green at the
bcm passenger under dash    now anyone know the voltage to drive this
led or am i going to have to bend down  and measure it lol
