Well the Type R's aren't really an SPL sub. They do get pretty loud though. I saw someone down at a local competition hit 138 with a single 12" Type R in a medium sized vented enclosure. If you gave us a budget, your enclosure size limitations, and tell us if you already have an amp or if you have a budget for a new one, we could give you some recommendations.
Or you could take a trip down to your local car audio shop and check out their selection and talk to the guys there about what you want.

Well if I get them then the vented box I build will be 6 ft^3 after the two drivers and port displacement, so the subs will see 3 ft^3 each when they are in the box with the port being 13.5 hight and 5.25 wide tuned to 40 Hz.  I'm hoping to find something else before I end up with these sence you say they really aint meant for spl.  I got 4 channel Rockford Fosqate p4004 right now but I'm gonna put a p4002 to them to I get another amp.

I would reccomend the Kicker l7's if you are going for SPL....they get loud, real loud.    but a P4002 would not be close to enough power to run those subs.
Unless you could double the amount you were looking to spend on an amp for your subs it would not be worth goin with the L7's

Yeah I'm saying I'm going to get a new amp but that be like a month or something.  You don't think the p4002 be enough cause it put out 800 rms bridge I think.

The p4002 puts out 400 watts bridged. An L7 is a good suggestion. But you'll have to find 700-800 watts to run it.
