We are installing remote start and alarm keyless on an 04 chevy truck. we have got the bypass module i believe the number is a 457g it is a directed product. Anyways we have the alarm and keyless working. But it tells us to locate the passkey box to find the pink wire. Well i can not find the pass key box. there is a pink wire in the ignition harness but i do not want to cut anything before i am certain. Also what is this i hear that you have to have a third ignition to keep the transmission from messing up??? any help on either problem would be apprecitated.

Did you miss the note in the instructions about the 3-pin harness only being used on certain Passkey 3 vehicles? Your truck has Passlock 2. The 3 pin harness is not used. The only wire from the 457G that gets connected is the data wire. Gets connected to the purple wire in the OBDII plug.
