I've got a 200 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. Had to replace the battery, and the cd player has locked itself. I'm assuming its an anti theft device. Anyone know the code, or does it vary by vehicle. Its a 4 door version, single disc player.

i think you have to get the serial number off the back of the radio and give your friendly neighborhood mitsu dealer a call

Yup, off to the dealer you go. It will save you money if you get the serial number off of the unit yourself, they charge to get it.

First off, we will NEVER give codes for ANY stereo in this forum, and this thread will likely be locked. Just a heads up...
BUT, in addition to the above suggestions, it might be a good idea to take the radio WITH you. They will probably want proof it's yours.
It is possible the serial might be linked to the VIN, so even if you have the serial and/or the radio, you will most likely have to have the car there as well, for them to read it, too.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
