Last time this happened to me- one of my ignition hots was actually an accessory hot- even though the factory defaults says ignition hot- I always look at the insides to see where the jumper is at from then on...

ok have you noticed if there is a second ignition on the truck? if there is your going to have to power that up with an additional relay other wise you can possibly* damage the transmission and other components on the car. check your schematic and make sure you are powering everything necessary in order for the truck to run. clear the check engine light and try my theory other than that i have heard from DEI Snake Pit instructors that the GM passlock II module does not work with the colorados. well good luck with the install hope you can add to this thread.
