Dome Light Supervision Relay? Confused

I am trying to add this to my wifes 97 Toyota Corolla,but the diagram I have is different from the one listed here. The dome light is neg(-). My diagram has me cutting the dome light wire.Here is what my diagram says to do..
87-ground
86-12v constant
87a-to dome light wire towards fuse box
30-to dome light
85-to keyless entry light suoervision wire

This Diagram switches the negitive on pin 87 to the Blue wire on pin 30 when a negitive is applied to Pin 85. When no Negitive is applied to pin 85 the Relay  keeps pin 30 and 87a connected.

Here is the same drawing modified with the Relay contacts drawn in so you can see what is going on.

I tried that digram and it doesn't work. When I wire up the relay the light goes on and off like always,but doesn't kick on when I unlock the doors?

I got it.I had to switch a couple of wires.

Yes it did. Thanks I had to flip the wire that was blue to the red and the red to the blue. The way it was wired from the picture,the light would pop on when I locked it and go off when I unlocked it.
