I threw an old Exec 3000atv in my dad's 98 Silverado last week, and everything was working fine, except passive arming/rearming was on, and I didn't want it. I tried to enter programming mode with no luck and now neither of the transmitters work. Any ideas?

It sounds as if you have erased the transmitters from the unit's memory. Is there a spot in the manual that tells you how to program the transmitters to the brain? I would try that first.
Keep us posted.

I have the manual, but the programming doesn't work the way it's supposed to. When entering programming mode, the horn is supposed to honk, then it's supposed to honk again every time a remote is progrmamed. I did get both remotes working, but I am still unable to change any of the features, and if I try it the way they say, it only saves the last remote I use. I think there may be a problem with the brain.
