Odd CA670 behavior

Have you tried tying the manual arm/disarm wires right into the pink/yel pink/lt. grn lock and unlock wires on the truck?

Those wires are inputs to the BCM (which includes the remote receiver) so they will not be driven on arm or disarm with the factory remotes, thus defeating the purpose of the manual arm and disarm inputs to the CA670.
Thanks for the idea though, I'm really scratching my head on this one.
I found a post on a F-150 site of someone with a CA670 that has the opposite problem, their truck does not unlock on the first push of the remote. Fortunately for them, there is a setting on the CA670 for double pulse on unlock which seemed to work for them.
