I am having  trouble installing the DEI Window modules in me 2000 GM Truck.  Does any one know where I can get a wiring diagram or some instructions?  Do the modules need to be diode or have a relay put in a special place?  can anyone help??

Thanks,

what jeff said but to add on you will need to go into each door and get the wires between both switches and motors in the respective door.

do you have to tear into both doors, or can you just use the drivers door wire harness since it contains all needed wires?? am going to install window module on a 97yukon in the near future..

Just access the wires in the driver's door. It will control the passenger side as well.

Some of the newer chevy trucks no longer run motor wires across the car.  When Techsoft says to go to each door it means that the wires coming from the drivers door are just a low level switch going into the passengers door switch.  I don't know about the 2000 but the 2002 are all this way.
