I think in British Columbia a "peeler bar" is one where they serve potatoes.

Nope, that is in Idaho. BC is known for a highly illegal narcotic (the green leafy substance) that is made into brownies, smoked or otherwise used to "get high". It was epitomized in such classic films with our favorite stoners, Cheech and Chong. It is stupid how much of this stuff is grown here, you truly have no idea.

I'll pass on the banana hammocks as well, shiver.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

You have a shop out here or work out of the house garage?
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

No, on the forums we are all single guys and should all visit the peeler bars on a regular basis to have "team meetings" to discuss important topics. This of course should also coincide with amateur night and the free booze the ladies are given.

I guess I shouldn't have opened my mouth, I just got engaged so it will be me +1 at the meet when it happens.

Bob and I were talking about this thing, and we decided that, maybe instead of all making a special trip to SoCal, we just postpone things thing 'till January '07, and we all plan on one night to get together at CES07 - Probably on Friday. I for one am planning on going this year, and it'll probably make for a better turn out for pretty much everybody. How's that sound as an alternative plan for everybody?
6 months away, and a convenient place, where many people will be showing up, anyway...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
