What I would like to happen is this; When I turn off my ignition, I would like like my dome lamps to come on, with out having to open the door.  My dome lamps already have a built in timer\off delay, so all I need to do is send a single pulse to the dome lamp when the ignition is shut off to activate the built in timer.

I think I need to modify the following to do what I want, I'm just not sure how.

Would I add another relay to power the relay above only when the car was off?

Thanks

Me tech info dont list a wire that you can just pulse to trigger your factory domelight delay. You would need to use a door trigger and purchase or build a timer device to drive the circuit.

I would have to pulse my door pin circuit, that would activate the timer built in to the front dome lamp.  The front dome lamp has four connections: 12+, switch 12+,constant ground, and ground switched by the door pin switch\trigger.  Whenever there is ground on the wire coming from the door pin switches the dome lamp is activated, if the ignition is off and the door is closed the dome lamp stays on for an additional 15 seconds, using it's constant ground wire. If the ignition is on and the door is closed the dome lamp is extinguished immediately.

So, all I need it to build a circuit that will send a ground pulse to the door pin wire whenever the ignition is turn off, in turn activating the dome lamps built in delay.

Thanks for taking the time to look up that info.
