I see what you guys are saying it makes perfect sense now. It makes perfect sense broken down like that. I've been out of the bus. for a little bit so I have some blockage upstairs, thanx for the help. I have to rely on the expertise on this site as there aren't many knowledge installers in my neck of the woods.

Thanx again, so bigwest run 1/0 gauge. If you want to get a general idea if your amps output is greatly exggerated add up the amperage of the fuses and multiply times 13.8. this will get you in the ballpark to what your output is

Damn i bought a 10-gauge amp kit!!!Is that bad?? Will it work with my amp? Please let me know!!!

1/0 is 0 big

2/0 is 00 bigger

3/0 is 000 HUGEEEE

10 is smaller than 8 gauge. and will only work up to like 100 RMS watts (if they wont return it keep it and use it for speaker wire maybe.

ok i'm going to get a 2 GAUGE amp kit and it says it can han handle up to 3000 watts and its made by POWER ACOUSTIC which is the same brand as my amp. I'm hopeing that this 2 Gauge with work.. Thank you
