Hey guys, need a quick answer to this. looking to put a viper 791xv into this car, went to www.bulldog security to get the wiring diagram for the car, and they said a bypass module is needed. the 791 odly enough... http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/MTweb/products.asp?id=1007 and here is the installation manual for it as well. http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/pdf/Model791.pdf

Is this needed for the MDX, or is any bypass module needed for the car?

thanks guys...

Yes, you will need a bypass module, you can use the one listed which consumes a key, or one that is wired in to the vehicle and provides the correct data to the vehicle to allow it to start, like DEI's 555H.
Hope this helps

also another quick question, also doing a basic RS on this guys 95 Lexus LS400 as well, I have the diagram for the car, but it only shows a factory disarm wire, no wore to re arm the factory system after RS is completed. I was thinking that if the factory alarm is armed with the drivers door lock, I could use the re-arm wire from the RS system to pulse the locks and re arm the system (with a relay) after RS?? is there an easier way?
anyone have a complete diagram?
thanks.

Hey guys, will be installing 2 791xv's into a Lexus LS400, and a 2002 Acura MDX... Since I haven't had a chance to go over the cars yet, was wondering if anyone had information on the types of locks in these vehicles, as far as relays required, and if it's necessary to diode isolate as well...

regards
