Yes, you will need a bypass module, you can use the one listed which consumes a key, or one that is wired in to the vehicle and provides the correct data to the vehicle to allow it to start, like DEI's 555H. Hope this helps

also another quick question, also doing a basic RS on this guys 95 Lexus LS400 as well, I have the diagram for the car, but it only shows a factory disarm wire, no wore to re arm the factory system after RS is completed. I was thinking that if the factory alarm is armed with the drivers door lock, I could use the re-arm wire from the RS system to pulse the locks and re arm the system (with a relay) after RS?? is there an easier way?anyone have a complete diagram?thanks.
